You might look at the displayed percentage of charge remaining rather than miles. Also, it should take longer than 2-3 hours to fully charge the battery. I think a new battery can take six hours from 0% to 100%, although my 2014 Energi goes from 0 to fully charged in 4.5 hours because of reduced capacity over the years.
